They hit 80% of their big goals!
Happy New Year!
At the beginning of each year, I ask my small group and private clients to create a Big 5 for the year.
Your Big 5 are the 5 things you are determined to accomplish this year.
My clients come up with all sorts of goals for themselves, like running a 5K or marathon, going back for their Master’s degree, purging the entire house, or losing 30 pounds, for example.
Recently, on our final call for 2016, I asked each client to share their Big 5 for 2016 and how many of them they accomplished.
Well, I’m so excited to share that my clients hit 80% of their Big 5 goals for 2016!
This means that on average each client accomplished 4 out of her 5 big goals for the year!
I tend to feel more gratitude as the year comes to a close, but knowing that my clients are moving toward their big goals year after year is the best Christmas present I could ever ask for.
What’s more, I’m proud to share that I’m finally going to reach one of MY own goals. It’s been more than a Big 5 goal of mine. It’s been a BHAG – a Big Hairy Audacious Goal of mine for several years to have my first live retreat and I’m happy to announce that it’s happening in March of this year in the beautiful Redwoods up in Northern California.
Since I’m a virtual coach, I work with clients that live all over the country. We never get a chance to see each other and hug each other in a live setting, so both me and my clients are thrilled that I’m finally reaching my BHAG. We’re going to have an awesome time. I can’t wait.
I owe achieving my BHAG to my coach, Larry Indiviglia, who has been my coach for a little over five years. He keeps me aligned with my goals, values, time management, and more. But most of all, he supports me and helps me “stay the course” as I move toward my personal and professional goals.
Coaching is for anyone who is ready, willing, and able to make a positive change in their life and wants the support, accountability, and guidance that will help get them there. There are a ton of “ah-ha” and breakthrough moments along the way as you learn about yourself and evolve. In fact, I wish I got myself a coach a long time ago.
Maybe you have some big goals for yourself this year and maybe year after year it’s the same goal(s) but you don’t seem to make much progress in it. If this is the case, you might want to consider coaching.
I’ve found that clients who begin in January have an extra special enthusiasm and motivation to make this year their absolute BEST in every way.
